SOUTH BEND, Indiana - The South Bend Washington women's basketball team looks to continue its dominance in the Northern Indiana Conference (NIC) for the third consecutive season.

The Panthers began their Northern Indiana Conference (NIC) run with a convincing 87-6 thrashing of Marian and now have a 30-game winning streak. Their last loss in the Northern Indiana Conference came to Penn in the 2020-21 season.

Washington will face their biggest challenge of the season when they host the region's second-ranked team, Payne University, on Friday night. The Panthers previously defeated King's 86-45 a season ago and 49-36 two years ago.
